Privacy Policy
RuSh Notes is a quiet place to write. We collect as little as we need to run it, and we never sell it.

01What we store
- Your email address, used to sign you in and identify your account.
- Your password, stored only as a one-way hash. Nobody, including us, can read it.
- Your notes and to-do lists: titles, content, and the dates they were created, updated or deleted.
- Your theme choice (dark or light).
02What we do not do
- No advertising, no analytics and no tracking scripts.
- We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone.
- No third-party services are loaded. Fonts and code are served from this site itself.
03Cookies and browser storage
- Session cookie (
rushnotes): keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It is essential and cannot be turned off while you use the app. - Theme cookie (
rush_theme): remembers dark or light for one year, so the sign-in page matches your choice. - Local storage: remembers small display preferences on your device, such as note sort order and whether the clock is shown.
04How long we keep things
- Notes stay until you delete them. Deleted notes move to the trash and are removed for good after 30 days, or immediately if you empty the trash.
- When you delete your account, your account and every note in it are permanently erased.
05Your control
- You can read and edit all of your notes at any time.
- You can change your password or delete your account from Settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- Your email address cannot be changed after sign-up.
06Security
- Passwords are hashed, sessions are protected against cross-site requests, and every note is tied to your account so other users cannot open it.
- No system is perfectly secure, so please do not store information whose loss or exposure would cause serious harm.
07Changes to this policy
- If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change too.
